I completed my 1st training Triathlon! I headed to the gym at 10...entered the water at 10:12 am...and completed my .5 miles in 18 minutes. I did a quick transition and headed to the cycle room to ride my 11.2 miles. I completed this in 44 minutes and 30 seconds. After my biking, I went to the treadmill...a little exhausted, but wanting to finish what I started, I decided to just walk it. I completed my 2.8 miles in 43 minutes.
All in all...I felt great and know that I could have pushed myself harder...but I'm continuing to learn and grow and know what my body can do!
TRI attempt #1 - 1 hour, 53 minutes (from in the pool until done with run including transitions!)

Hi Stacie - I am not sure how I originally came across your page... maybe on the Seattle Triathlon group website... anyway, I have to admit, I have been checking your blog every now and then to see how your training is going :) I am registered for the Danskin in August -- it will be my first triathlon, too! I love the idea of trying the triathlon completely at the gym -- once I get more endurance with my swimming, I will definitely give it a try. Just wanted to send a note saying "great job" with your training... keep up the good work! I truly enjoy reading about your progress :)
